Get a waterproof install using the included sealant approved for use with polycarbonate plastic. Remove the old skylight, then clean and prep the roof surface so it's dry and debris-free. For added sealing, apply butyl tape (sold separately) along the skylight flange before setting it in place. Secure it with 1" zinc or stainless steel screws (not included), then seal over the flange edges and fasteners with the included sealant. If you need hardware or additional sealant, an install kit and extra sealant is available separately (SR76RR or SR86RR). Hello neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our specialty recreation universal replacement RV skylight for a 14 by 30 inch cutout. So folks, this will replace a damaged or worn skylight on your RV or camper or maybe even a enclosed trailer. And it's gonna fit over a 14 inch wide by 30 inch long cutout. And it's gonna require a minimum roof thickness of about an inch and a half for proper installation. Now it is made of a durable polycarbonate, it's UV resistant and impact resistant.
You can see I'm pushing down, it's popping right back up into place and it has a translucent kind of material that's made of, and that's gonna diffuse the light and also reduce glare that's coming in. Now it is a super simple, easy installation. You're gonna have pre-drilled holes around the edge here. All the other brands that I've seen don't do that. So that's a nice little touch.
And you're gonna get the included SR140 sealant here. Make sure you're just using their sealant that comes with it as the self-leveling sealants that are out there, the chemical compounds don't mix too well with the polycarbonate and they could deteriorate and leak over time. So again, make sure you're using the included sealant. You would need to get some screws. Those are not included.
You'd have to get them separately either here at etrailer with an installation kit or at your local hardware store. Now like I said, it fits a 14 by 30 inch cutout, but as far as the overall dimensions, lengthwise, it's 33 and a half inches long and it is 17 and a half inches wide. So far so good! Easy install. Didn’t leak during a major rain storm. Happy with this purchase.
Fortunately the skylight its self was not damaged. The packaging was ripped open and the skylight exposed. I would say the handlers were to rough but also more protection in the packaging would have helped.

It’s what I ordered, got here when it was suppose to.
It's not as thick as OEM. That's not a huge deal. However, it's also not as tall. It appears to be between 1/4" and 1/2" shorter. It pressed down on the interior skylight bubble and had to bend over it. I was happy that by forcing it to bend that it didn't crack or break. It seems to be holding up okay, so I won't complain.
So far so good. Haven’t installed it yet but seems like it will do the trick. Got delivered super fast and was happy that it came with adhesive.
E trailer was the only place that included the sealant .E trailer was the only part supplier that stated why that sealer had to be used. Fast shipping super easy. I had to use a heat gun to remove old sealant. I saved and reused all the screws. I followed instructions on the sealant tube and didn’t over tighten them.
Perfect fit and fast shipping for a replacement RV skylight. I like it because it is thicker and darker than the OEM skylight. Easy install and it does come with sealant. I will buy again for my next skylight replacement.
The sealant tube blew apart during applications and made a mess of everything and ruined my $30 caulking gun.
It's the same one I installed last fall. One end did not winter well I think because of the curve in the roof. Going to pad that well and be careful not to turn screws too tight. Rest of it was fine. Wood frame got dozed a bit from rough winter. Will reinforce with fiberglass and epoxy first

Well, I ordered the right size! The one I replaced had turned to a crispy cracker and desinigrated as I tried to remove it. The sealant that came with it was super sticky and worked well to lay a bead to seal it. I am confident I am back to a water-tight skylight. eTrailer is the best!
Easy install on aluminu Sundowner living quarter equine trailer. Fit perfect. Used 2 rows of 1/8x1” butyl tape then applied 3 tubes of sealant for lap seal. Order extra tubes because 1 tube will not gitter done.
I’m impressed with the quick delivery, the skylight and the ease of purchasing this item from etrailer. This is a replacement for a 17 year old RV, looks like it’s going to be the perfect fit. I will certainly look at etrailer for future purchases.
Item arrived, and was the right size. One major detractors was that all the drilled holes had melted plastic residue on the bottom, some greater than 1/8 inch thick. Had i not notice this right before I set the skylight on the adhesive, the skylight would have either leaked, or quite likely cracked when I went to screw it in. Had to trim and file each of those bumps smooth to get a good seal.
I replaced my factory clear skylight with this smoke skylight and it is a very nice replacement, no more sunlight in the front living area of our motorhome, it helped keep the area much cooler
Just arrived ill install the items hopefully this weekend and will let you know hoh it goes
